Teart Brand, Package, and Website Design

Teart is a simple and different tea infuser. They manufactured and sold their tea infuser for years in Chile and wanted to expand to the United States.

The goal was to redesign their brand, packaging, and marketing collateral.
Visual Identity
Since this project was multifaceted, I started by designing a new visual identity. From there, I began applying the identity and further developing it on their packaging, web presence, and eCommerce website.
Decorative patterns based on logo
Asset Creation
One of the most fundamental parts of a great visual identity is great assets. The client didn't have existing assets that were up to my quality standards, so I brought on a trusted photographer and created some new ones.
We shot some isolated beauty shots of the product which I Photoshopped myself. You will find this particular shot on the website homepage design.
Original shot vs. my final photoshopped version
We also shot an in-use photoshoot with models.
Website
Their product is very simple and it was the only thing they were selling on their website at the time. Because of this, I wanted to design something that didn’t make the website feel empty. The beauty shot I created made a great showpiece around which I could center the design. This allowed me to make the website simple and elegant rather then empty and sterile.
Packaging
I worked with a package manufacturer to identify a size and template I felt would work well for the product. From there I took the manufacturing template they provided and created a design that would stand out on a shelf especially if the boxes were arranged side-by-side. I did this by printing out my own miniature prototypes, folding them, and arranging them how they might be in a retail setting.
You'll notice I subtly imbedded the logo within the decorative pattern (developed with the visual identity) to give it a fun and meaningful placement.
